Nanelle Scott '78, an aeronautics and astronautics major, was one of five MIT students selected to serve as resident advisors to high school students for the first year of Minority Introduction to Engineering (MITE).
Established in 1974 and known today as Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES), the six-week program draws promising high school seniors from across the country to the MIT campus each summer.
